Vår historie

  brunsame ble startet av fire norske gutter fra øya Senja. De vokste opp på Gibostad, - en liten bygd med ca. 400 innbyggere. Etter hvert som de vokste opp fra små gutter til litt større gutter, flyttet de rundt omkring i Norge. De bestemte seg for å ta vare på samholdet og vennskapet gjennom å starte klesmerket ”brunsame”. Navnet er en formildet utgave av noen av de tingene som en av gründerne ble mobbet som i oppveksten. To av gründerne er nemlig adoptert fra India til kalde nord. Vennegjengen har alltid stått sammen i tykt og tynt. Ekte blodsbrødre. Det er en påminnelse om at dersom kamerater står sammen og stiller opp for hverandre, vil situasjoner som kan være negative vinkles til noe positivt.

Dette ble starten på brunsame.

Our history

brunsame "brown sami" was started by four Norwegian guys from the island of Senja. They grew up on Gibostad - a small village with approximately 400 inhabitants.

As they grew from little boys to bigger boys, they moved all over our long country and got separated. Because of the fear of loosing their unity and friendship they decided to launch the fashion line “brunsame”. The name is a mild version of some of the things one of the founders was bullied with during his youth. Two of the founders are actually adopted from India to the cold north.

The group of friends has always stood together through thick and thin. Real blood brothers.

This is a reminder that if friends stand together and support each other, situations that can be seen as negative can be turned into something positive.

This was the beginning of brunsame.
